Durban based

Salary: R11 183 basic per month + R250 commission for every sale achieved (if KPA’s are met then commission doubles!)

Monday to Friday 08h00 to 16H30

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the sales environment with a strong telephonic sales and cold calling background along with experience in a leads driven environment and appointment setting
  • A technical knowledge relating to modern technology, electronics and telecommunications will be beneficial
  • PC literacy is essential as all work is done electronically
  • Well presented and takes pride in appearance
  • Previous sales experience non-negotiable

Job Description

Minimum expectations to be met:

  • Generate leads by prospecting new business
  • Calls to existing data bases SA and UK
  • 2100 calls (1050 new business and 1050 follow-ups)
  • 120 Sales appointments per month
  • Upgrade clients to new technology and products
  • Conduct needs analysis in call to advise on appropriate service required in sales appointment
  • 8 new client subscriptions a month
  • Ensure that sales targets set by management are met

Sales administration:

  • Keep records of all work done and clients called, utilising CRM systematically
  • Make use of Leads, opportunities and orders
  • Update new information or changes onto the CRM system
  • Ensure that accurate details are entered and it is saved to account on CRM
  • In order to qualify for a sale an order has to be submitted, unit delivered and installed and order fulfilled before the last working day of the month

Reporting:

  • Ensure that all leads, phone calls are logged on Myphoner
  • All orders & opportunities are logged on CRM for reporting needs
  • Reports will be drawn from CRM on all sales activity during the month
  • Compile and submit ad hoc reports as required

Product knowledge (training will be provided):

  • A complete understanding and updating of all information around all SOH products and services must be maintained with the objective of sales
  • Additional training available on request
